  • In-person Meet Up

    Your manager will:

    • Move from ‘doer’ to ‘thinker’ 

    • Learn the secret ingredient of every high performing team 

    • Have a DISC Advanced Assessment done, and learn their workplace motivators, values, communication style and conflict style

    • Learn how to adjust their style with others for ultimate impact and influence.

    This in-person day is a great opportunity for them to hand shake/hug (whatever they’re into) their fellow Managers, build IRL connections and drown themselves in well deserved coffee and pastries while they learn.

The weekly breakdown…

  • Online session

    Your manager will:

    • Learn how to build strong and trusted relationships up and down the line

    • Understand the importance of being both soft and able to set standards as a leader and how to balance the two

    • Learn how to be their most authentic and open self as a leader

    • Develop strategies to manage things like: poor communication; lack of accountability, tardiness, putting up with push back (i.e eye rolls) and underdelivering against expectations. 

    Yep, we’re diving into the real-life juicy stuff!

  • Online session

    Your manager will:

    • Better understand the relationship (and fears they have) with giving and getting feedback

    • Learn the “fast five” - the five things they should consider before having a feedback conversation

    • Understand the S.B.O feedback model and apply this to real life feedback convos (you know - poor quality of work, lack of accountability, inappropriate dress, inappropriate phone use etc) so they can have them with ease.

  • Online session

    Your manager will:

    • Learn the Will / Skill matrix relative to delegation

    • Understand what gets in the way of their ability to delegate effectively and gain bespoke strategies to target this

    • Audit their workflow and see which tasks add the most value, which should be performed by someone else and which could be simplified, automated or systemised

    • Learn how to have clear delegation conversations that drive motivation and accountability.

  • No call this week! 

    Instead they’ll be invited to put what they’ve learned into practice, with the Management Collective team on hand to answer any questions they have or support them with any challenges that pop up.

    • Our private Slack space starts popping off with weekly challenges

    • The questions and conversations step up a notch as theory is put to the test in real life scenarios and our people managers come together to reflect on what's hot, what's not and what they'll try next

    • If it hasn't clicked already, people managers start to see that they are capable and they have. what they need in their new and improved leadership toolkit

  • In our final sesh your manager will get coached and learn from others getting coached! WOO! They can bring any question, challenge or headache to the table and we’ll move through it together.

    Participants have shared that this is their all-time fave session as they get to witness others in the coaching hot seat (and have a second-hand lightbulb moment), share their own "I-can't-believe-I'm-saying-this-out-loud" question and support one another with their own insights, ideas and experiences.

    We finish leaving no stone unturned and ensure every single person leaves knowing how brilliant they and feels ready to lead like the mean it!

Meet your head trainer, Lucy.

The Management Collective is led by me, Mindset & Leadership Coach Lucy Allen 👋

I have over a decade of experience in marketing and comms for big brands like Red Bull and Levi Strauss PLUS I have a coaching and neuro-linguistic programming certification.

I've managed big teams, big projects, big budgets, big expectations and big personalities and know how to motivate and move people in and out of the workplace.

I have a knack for making people feel good (the number one compliment I get is about my "energy")! This might seem fluffy but I know that when people feel good, they're more likely to be open, honest and brave. These are the exact ingredients for personal change and professional growth and I love bringing them out in the managers who join the Management Collective!

  • A: It's for anyone who manages other people - men, women and non-binary.

  • A: Absolutely you can! Alternatively, if you have a big enough professional network where you live, we can chat about running the in-person event in your area!

  • A: We regularly run the Management Collective so get in touch and we can cook something up together. We always have the exact people who were meant to be in a group together so don't stress, your timing is perfect.   • A: Because we want to provide managers with exposure to other people and ways of thinking outside of their org, we only allow up to three from each workplace. Have more? We run the Management Collective regularly, so enroll them in the next intake!

  • A: Absolutely. Please email lucy@thgracefulcollective.com to learn about my Management Maker program.

  • A: Haha, in really basic terms, Learna is an app that houses hundreds of different professional development trainings on it. Once you have a Learna membership, you can go nuts and access all the trainings on the app for six. whole. months. Psychological safety, creative thinking, boosting confidence - you name it, it’s probably on Learna.

  • A: No you don’t. As long as you have a Learna subscription for the manager you want to enroll in the Management Collective then you're good to go!

  • A: The Live program runs for 6 weeks but your manager will have life-long access to the community and a 6 month Learna subscription (which can be extended upon expiry if you love it as much as I think you will).
